Capitol Hill’s Cue Apartments Shine with a little help from Division 9 FLooring.

Seattle’s Capitol Hill is changing. What used to be edgy is now hip. Some call it gentrification – the “urban renewal” of lower class neighborhoods. Whatever you want to call it, Seattle’s Capitol Hill has it in spades and is in transition. The makeover is remarkable. You really notice it at night. What used to be a somewhat sketchy neighborhood, is now a mecca for young urbanites. New apartments and condos have been going in all over the place. There are cranes everywhere you look in downtown Seattle and Capitol Hill is no exception. With the influx of young professionals in the area, Capitol Hill’s “sketchy” factor is dropping. Division 9 Flooring Spruces Up Ivar’s Acres of Clams

Division 9 Flooring spruces up Ivar’s Acres of Clams.

After a 9 month closure, Ivar’s Acres of Clams on Elliott Bay opened it’s doors, appropriately enough, just before the 4th of July weekend.

Ivar’s is a Seattle institution. In 1938, Ivar Haglund opened an aquarium on the Seattle Waterfront. Ivar thought he’d try selling red clam chowder and fish and chips to the folks coming out to see the aquarium, and the rest is Seattle history. The restaurant and Ivar became well known to Seattleites over the years. Continue reading…

Bellevue Pediatric Dentistry and Division 9 Flooring Create Fun Kids Atmosphere.

Division 9 Flooring recently worked a flooring project with Bellevue Pediatric Dentistry. They sought us out via a recommendation from Office Wrap.

Division 9 Flooring Estimator Sherry Lee Durham says “We demo’d their existing flooring and installed new LVT and carpet. There were a few hiccups along the way as the tenant downstairs was unhappy with the noise. We switched gears and were able to accommodate them by working a few evenings and the weekend.”  Continue reading…
